DTO, Inc d/b/a DataTracGateway.Com does not keep any credit card numbers on file, however we safely store abbreviated Transaction info for customer referral only. We also take all steps available to us through our Card processor to safely secure all transactions.

All customer files are kept in a locked and secured area and their customer information is not shared with anyone but the customer for any reason.

DataTracGateway.Com supplies data primarily to businesses in the investigative and Human Resources industries. DataTracGateway.Com sells data over the Internet, at http://www.DataTracGateway.Com . DataTracGateway.Com sells data for the purposes of locating the whereabouts of individuals and businesses as well as Background Screening Services

The information that DataTracGateway.Com makes available to it’s customers is:

Public record information obtained directly from reputable third parties who have compiled public record information from governmental agencies and/ or Header files.

Publicly available information obtained from sources such as published telephone directories.

This website takes every precaution to protect our user's information. When users submit  sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. 

DataTracGateway.Com ’s company policy is to limit access of any non-public information to businesses who can demonstrate an appropriate use for the information and who agree to abide by all local and federal laws regarding the purchase and dissemination of the information. Appropriate uses are enumerated below.

DataTracGateway.Com ’s operating principles are intended to comply with the principles set forth by the Individual Reference Services Group (IRSG). The group was established to develop self-regulatory principles to cover the collection, aggregation and distribution of personal data.

Even though DataTracGateway.Com is not a member of the IRSG, we feel that the IRSG principles provide an excellent mechanism for protecting the public’s right to privacy while allowing industry to continue to protect itself from fraud or financial loss.

The following includes direct quotes from the IRSG principles as well as annotations which make clear how DataTracGateway.Com complies with the principles. The annotations are in bold. For a full copy of the IRSG principles, visit the IRSG website at www.irsg.org <http://www.irsg.org>.

I.Education: Individual reference services shall individually and through their industry groups make reasonable efforts to educate users and the public about privacy issues associated with their services, the types of services they offer, these principles, and the benefits of the responsible flow of information.

II. Reputable Sources: Individually identifiable information shall be acquired from only sources known as reputable in the government and private sectors.

A. Reasonable measures shall be employed to understand an information source’s data collection practices and policies before accepting information from that source.

B. Individually identifiable information that is collected for marketing purposes shall not knowingly be purchased, sold or retained for creating or inclusion in individual reference services, unless it is public record information or publicly available information; its use is specifically permitted by law; or it is collected with notice to the individual that such information will be used for inclusion in individual reference service products.

DataTracGateway.Com acquires data from a variety of  private data compilers. Where information is obtained from private sources, DataTracGateway.Com investigates those sources to help ensure that the data provided is appropriate for our products and that the supplier has reasonable data collection practices. .

III. Accuracy: Reasonable steps shall be taken to help assure the accuracy of the information in individual reference services. The goal of individual reference service products is to furnish customers with accurate reproductions of information.

A. When contacted by an individual concerning an alleged inaccuracy about that individual, the individual reference service, as appropriate, shall either correct any inaccuracy or inform the individual of the source of the information and, if reasonably available, where a request for correction may be directed.

DataTracGateway.Com investigates all allegations that its databases contain inaccurate information. Since all of the information that DataTracGateway.Com provides comes from public records or from credit bureau "Header" files, we are not in a position to correct alleged inaccuracies in the data. We will however assist individuals and businesses in contacting the correct agencies should an issue of accuracy arise.

B. The individual reference service’s commitment to furnish users with reasonably accurate reproduction of information in public record information systems does not permit alteration of the substantive content of public record information products or services.

DataTracGateway.Com may change the format of the public record information that it delivers to it’s customers. We do not change the content of the information in any way.

IV. Public Record and Publicly Available Information: public record information and publicly available information shall be usable without restriction unless legally prohibited.

DataTracGateway.Com requires all of its customers to agree to use our information for legal and appropriate business purposes.

V. Distribution of Non-Public Information: Except as provided in section IX, non-public information will be distributed only according to the criteria set forth below. The nature of non-public information being requested and the intended uses of such information shall determine the level of review of the subscriber. Companies who supply information covered by this section to individual reference services shall provide such information only to individual reference services that adopt or comply with these principles.

DataTracGateway.Com provides highly qualified commercial and professional customers with access to non-public information pursuant to IRSG Principles, and we do not otherwise provide access to any non-public information to the general public. DataTracGateway.Com requires its subscribers to be the end users of the information.

DataTracGateway.Com customers consist of law enforcement officers, private investigators, lawyers, and other professionals who demonstrate a legitimate need for access to the non-public information. Each potential subscriber must sign an agreement which enumerates the appropriate uses for the information. Additionally, as part of the subscriber review process, each potential subscriber must provide a copy of his or her business or professional license as well as a copy of his or her letterhead and business card. Each applicant is screened thereafter to make sure the information provided is legitimate and up to date. Finally, we ask each subscriber to indicate their appropriate use for each search that they run, before we will return the results of the search. This information is kept for a period of five years.

DataTracGateway.Com has identified the following appropriate uses for its non-public information:

In addition, the following is a list of unacceptable uses for our non-public information:

· May NOT be used to locate suspects in a criminal or civil lawsuit in order to develop a news story.

· May NOT be used to track down victims of fraud, their family members or friends to develop a news story.

· May NOT be used to locate lost loves, friends, family members or for personal reasons (e.g. dating, etc.).

· May NOT be used for purposes that may cause physical or emotional harm to the subject of the report (e.g. stalking, harassing, etc.).

· May NOT be used to search for individuals involved in an adoption (children, parents, siblings, etc.).

· May NOT be used to locate personal information on well known / high profile celebrities, government officials, etc.

· May NOT be used in connection with credit repair services, to locate previous debtors or to assist in the determination of whether or not to file a personal lawsuit or judgment against the subject of the report.

· May NOT be used to access individual reference data on ones self or out of personal curiosity.

· May NOT be used by Professional and Commercial users for purposes that are not within their normal course of business (e.g. A collection agency may NOT use our services / products to locate a witness to a crime).

Upon notification from a consumer, supplier or any regulatory agency that one of DataTracGateway.Com ’s subscribers has inappropriately used any non-public information, that subscriber will be immediately blocked access to any non-public information until the subscriber has had an opportunity to explain why they accessed the non-public information. Unless the subscriber can provide an adequate explanation, the subscriber’s access will be permanently terminated.

A. Selective and Limited Distribution of Non-Public Information: Individual reference services may distribute non-public information without restriction of its contents only to qualified subscribers.

Qualified subscribers for the selective and limited distribution of non-public information must satisfy the following conditions:

a. The subscribers must state their appropriate uses for such information.
b. The subscribers must agree to limit their use and redissemination of such information to such appropriate uses.
c. The subscribers shall be reasonably identified and meet qualification requirements that establish them as appropriate users of the information and agree to terms and conditions consistent with these principles prior to accessing the information.

Each individual reference service shall take reasonable steps to protect against misuse of non-public information distributed pursuant to this subsection which will include:

a. Each individual reference service shall make available upon request an explanation of what uses of its information are appropriate and to which types of qualified subscribers such information is available.
b. Individual reference services shall conduct a reasonable review of the subscriber and its intended uses of the information prior to making non-public information available to the subscriber.
c. Individual reference services shall maintain a record of the identity of subscribers, the types of uses, and the terms and conditions agreed to by the subscriber for three years after termination of each subscriber’s relationship with the individual reference service.
d. Reasonable measures shall be employed to help assure that qualified subscribers use non-public information appropriately.
e. Individual reference services shall implement reasonable mechanisms to remedy subscriber abuses of the information.

      B. Commercial and Professional Distribution of Non-Public Information: Individual reference services, when they limit the non-public information content of their products or services as set forth below, may distribute such products or services only to established professional and commercial users who use the information in the normal course and scope of their business or profession and the use is appropriate for such activities.

1. non-public information products or services distributed pursuant to this subsection shall not include:

a. Information that reflects credit history, financial history, medical records, mother’s maiden name identified as such, or similar information;
b. Certain information like social security number and birth information unless truncated in an appropriate and industry consistent manner.

2. Users shall agree to terms and conditions consistent with these principles prior to accessing the non-public information, shall agree to use such information solely in the normal course and scope of their business or profession and that the use is appropriate for such activities and that they shall limit their use and redissemination of such information to such uses and in accordance with these principles.

3. Individual reference services shall take reasonable steps to protect against misuse of the non-public information distributed pursuant to this subsection which will include:

a. If not previously established, the individual reference service shall take reasonable steps to identify the user and to establish the user as an established professional or commercial entity.
b. Reasonable measures shall be employed to help assure that commercial and professional customers use non-public information appropriately.
c. Individual reference services shall implement reasonable mechanisms to remedy subscriber abuses of the information.
d. Individual reference services shall maintain a record of the identity of subscribers and the terms and conditions agreed to by the subscriber for three years after termination of each subscriber’s relationship with the individual reference service.

C. General Distribution of Non-Public Information: Individual reference services, when they limit the non-public information content of their products or services as set forth in this subparagraph, may distribute such products or services to any person.

DataTracGateway.Com does not provide access for General Distribution of non-public information.

1. non-public information distributed pursuant to this subparagraph shall not knowingly include information that reflects social security number, mother’s maiden name identified as such, non-published telephone number, or non-published address information obtained from telephone companies, birth information, credit history, financial history, medical records, or similar information, nor will the service be retrievable by a social security number.

2. The individual reference service shall take reasonable steps to protect against the misuse of non-public information.

VI. Security: Individual reference services shall maintain facilities and systems to protect information from unauthorized access and persons who may exceed their authorization. In addition to physical and electronic security, individual reference services shall reasonably implement:

A. Employee and contractor supervision-Employees and contractors shall be required to sign confidentiality agreements and be subject to supervision.

B. Reviews-System reviews shall be made at appropriate intervals to assure that employees are complying with policies.

DataTracGateway.Com takes reasonable steps to maintain appropriate security for it s facilities and computer systems. DataTracGateway.Com ’s computer experts regularly review our security measures to determine if any additional steps need to be taken to safeguard our data and customer information.

Public records, by law, must be available from the official public records office to anyone who requests them. Accordingly, because individuals cannot opt out of public records databases generally, DataTracGateway.Com c does not offer individuals the opportunity to opt out of our public records databases - our goal is accurately reflect the complete underlying public records database.. If you have a compelling privacy or security issue, you may wish to contact the official custodians of those public records that contain sensitive information about you, such as your county’s land records office, to determine how to remove your information from the public record. This process will ensure that the information is not available from the public records custodian, DataTracGateway.Com , or any other information provider.

Because DataTracGateway.Com does not make any non-public information available to the general public, DataTracGateway.Com does not offer individuals the opportunity to opt out of its non-public databases.

Although DataTracGateway.Com does not sell mailing lists, you may wish to contact the Direct Marketing Association if you are concerned about unwanted mail or telephone solicitations or about the collection of marketing data about you. This Association maintains a list of individuals who do not want to receive telephone solicitations, "junk" mail, product offers and catalogues. The DMA’s addresses are:

IX. Access: Upon request and reasonable terms, an individual reference service shall:

A. Inform an individual about the nature of public record and publicly available information that it makes available in its products and services and the sources of such information;

B. Provide individuals with non-public information contained in products and services that specifically identifies them and that are distributed as part of an individual reference service to users under section V. of these Principles unless the information was obtained on a limited use basis from a governmental agency or if its disclosure is limited by law or legally recognized privilege; and

C. Direct individuals to a consumer reporting agency regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act where such agency is the source of the information about the individual.

Access to Public Records and Publicly Available Information

DataTracGateway.Com offers its customers access to a variety of databases of public records (such as real estate filings and court documents and publicly available information (such as published telephone directories). Because these records do not contain a unique identifier (such as Social Security number), it is impossible for DataTracGateway.Com to determine with any certainty what records relate to a particular individual. Unlike consumer credit reporting agencies, DataTracGateway.Com does not compile a credit report or other report on particular individuals because we cannot match particular records to particular individuals. Accordingly, DataTracGateway.Com does not have a report to provide you regarding public records or publicly available information about you that DataTracGateway.Com may have in its databases.

X. Children: Where an individual is identified in the product or service as being under the age of 18, no non-public information about that individual shall be provided for other than selective and limited distribution purposes or for the purposes of locating missing children.

Y. Celebrities: Politicians And Public Figures: DataTracGateway.Com does not allow its users to perform searches

   on  Public figures ,Celebrites or Politicions for any reason services will be terminated Immediately on notifcation

   of violations

 DataTracGateway.Com does not distribute any non-public data about children.

XI. Assurance of Compliance: The signers of these principles shall have completed within 15 months of the effective date of these principles, and on a periodic basis thereafter, at least once every year, an assurance review done by a reasonably qualified independent professional service. The independent professional service shall apply assurance criteria consistent with these principles and approved by the signers as a group. Individual reference services shall have a reasonable opportunity to respond to any concerns expressed in such assurance review. A summary reflecting both the report and any subsequent actions taken or response made by the company shall be publicly available.

Even though DataTracGateway.Com is not a member of the IRSG, DataTracGateway.Com will follow all of the principles set forth in the IRSG principles including article XI.
